Barn Name: Ben
Registered Name: Bidagainben
Breed: Thoroughbred
Sex: gelding
Year foaled: 1997
Height: 16.2 hh
Color: bay
Markings: star, three socks
Price: $4500

This big-bodied gelding has the look of a warmblood, and a puppy dog personality. Retired from the race track sound at age 5, and beginning a new career in dressage. Was first shown summer of 2005 in Intro Level on the WWHSA circuit where he was year-end Reserve Champion at that level.

Currently schooling counter canter, travers and leg yields at the trot. Has also been jumped lightly; we've only jumped him about a dozen times, but he jumped everything we pointed him at with no problems (brush, flowers, etc.) The only reason he hasn't been jumped more is that the rider is focusing on dressage.

Not suitable for beginner or timid rider because of his size and power, but would make a great pony club mount for a more experienced teen, or dressage or hunter mount for an adult. Ben wants to be spoiled by someone who will ride him brush him, pamper him and feed him peppermints!

Barn Name: Duke
Registered Name: Marion Duke of KHA
Breed: Halflinger
Sex: gelding
Year foaled: 2003
Height: 14.2 hh
Color:chestnut, flaxen mane and tail
Markings: blaze
Price: $4700

Duke is a wonderful little guy with a big body and big heart! Loves attention and is loads of fun to ride! He's been hauled to numerous shows where he's done both hunters and dressage. Duke has been used in lessons as well as day camps, and has been shown by an 11 year old girl.

Always in the ribbons, has been year end winner in WWHSA many times including:
  • 2008 Grand Champion Intro Level 17 and under
  • 2009 Reserve Champion Intro Level 17 and under
  • 2010 Grand Champion Green Hunter
  • 2012 Grand Champion Training Level Test 1

Duke would make a nice mount for a pony clubber, or smaller adult. Currently doing more dressage work including schooling Travers, Renvers, and Sidepass.

Barn Name: Jasmine
Show name:Xcellent Jasmine
Breed: Thoroughbred
Sex: mare
Year Foaled: 2004
Height: 14.3+ hh
Color: Dark brown
Markings:small star, right front pastern
Price: $1800

Jasmine is a cute, smaller TB who was never raced. She's got a lot of spunk, so might make a nice pony club mount or eventing project for a smaller adult. Shown lightly in hunters and dressage including Prix Caprilli. Hauls well, easy to handle.

Barn Name:RC
Show name:Ralph's Chaser
Breed: Thoroughbred
Sex: mare
Year Foaled: 1993
Height: 15.3 1/2hh
Color: dark brown/black
Markings:small star
Price: FREE lease

RC is being offered on a free lease as a broodmare or for light riding. She was raced as a 2 and 3 year old and was a money winner. Her sire is Come Summer, a stakes race winner and Hall of Fame horse at Canterbury Park. At age 4 she began a new career in the hunter ring, as well as dabble a little in dressage. She loves to jump and often will take a jump just for fun when turned loose in the arena. Very bold, and athletic. She is currently sound for light riding, and has been doing a few riding lessons weekly. She may not stay sound if ridden intensively, so not a good candidate for the show ring at this time. She is not suitable for beginning riders, and she does NOT know how to neck rein. RC has had a few babies, and she is a very good mother. Breed her to a Quarter Horse for your next appendix baby for a hunter, barrel horse or whatever. Breed her to a warmblood for your next jumper or dressage horse. She is in the mare book for RPSI. Photos are of RC as both a competitive horse and a mother; pictures of the bay horse are the same horse as in the baby picture. This bay mare is registered RPSI.
